Your puppy's health is guaranteed for ten days from the time of possession. During this time it is strongly encouraged that you have your puppy examined by a veterinarian to confirm its sound health. If your puppy is considered unhealthy by your vet, we will refund the purchase price of your puppy. You must provide a veterinarian's certificate stating the health problem within four days of the exam and return the puppy immediately. This guarantee does not apply to injury, illness, or parasites sustained subsequent to you taking possession of the puppy.
Replacement Guarantee Against Congenital Malformation or Fatal Hereditary Disease
Your puppy is guaranteed against fatal congenital malformation or fatal hereditary disease which occurs or is discovered and which will result in death before the age of two years. If your pup has such a condition, at our option, we will either refund the purchase price or replace the puppy with another. You must provide us with a veterinarian's certificate within ten days of the determination of fatal congenital malformation or fatal hereditary disease, which specifies the health problem and certifies that the puppy will not survive past two years of age. The AKC registration must be returned along with the vet's certification.
Replacement Guarantee Against Hip Dysplasia
You puppy is guaranteed until two years of age to be free from crippling hip dysplasia. If within this period your puppy has crippling hip dysplasia and is OFA certified as such, you must deliver that certification within ten days along with the AKC registration. You must also send proof that you have neutered or spayed the dog. We will either replace your puppy with another from a different breeding or refund the purchase price, based upon availability.
The purchase price of all puppies include tail docking, dewclaw removal, ear cropping, worming and vaccinations up to the date of purchase.
Summit Dobermans reserves the right to have our own testing done by a different Veterinarian for secondary diagnosis, at our expense.
Transportation costs of any puppy to and from Summit Dobermans, along with the cost of any veterinary services shall be the responsibility of the buyer.
