First of all, meet some of the other members of our family. From the left: Bear; who we saved from a local shelter several years ago. He had been severely beaten and extremely under weight. Once we gave him the attention he had never been given before, he turned out to be one of the greatest companions one could ever wish for (Unfortunately Bear passed away in May 2001); Nestling Nasada, CGC; She is now retired from breeding and enjoys lounging around the house. Her most outstanding trait is her giant heart. She also knows how to suck up to her mother in order to get whatever she wants; The other two dogs are Niko & Mia.

This is Nasada with her daughter, Nakieja. Even here at 34 days old we knew that she was so irresistible that we decided to make her a part of our family. She is incredibly intelligent and devoted, but then again I am biased because she is dad's pride & joy. With only eight weeks of training she went into the ring for her first match (I had never been in the ring before either, my wife normally shows all of our dogs) and she not only qualified but placed 1st also!

We will be updating with a more recent photo of Nakieja soon.

Here is a picture of Niko around 4 months old with his big brother Bear, who did a terrific job helping us raise Niko. They were always inseparable. Sadly, we will always miss Bear.

These adult pictures of Niko show how truly magnificent he has matured.

Besides competing in the obedience ring, Niko enjoys his trips to local nursing homes as a therapy dog.

Just how many dogs will fit in an elevator?

After a long hard day of kissing all the residents at the nursing home, Niko and his friends take time out to relax. He is pictured here with his friends; Max, Cody, Brittany, Sam, Ben and others. Unfortunately his best friend and training companion, JonDee a 3 pound Papillion, is not visible in the picture.

This is a picture of Niko and my wife Lisa when they completed his CD title.

This is a picture of a prior litter we had in our home from Nasada & Keego. It takes a great deal of patients and numerous attempts (around 60) to get such a terrific picture. All of our professional photos are done exclusively by Mac Morey of Picture Perfect Portraits.
